A Working Class Background

"I grew up in a humble, working-class neighborhood and I watched as my father struggled to provide for our family with his modest salary. He passed away at the age of 53, long before normal retirement age, and before he had built up any significant savings for his later years. I promised myself that would never happen to me, nor anyone I knew or had the influence to change. Maybe that's why I was so driven early in my career."
